Affiliate disclosure

OutageWatt is published by Pearl Digital LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (filing No. 2026-002043540) and is free to use. To keep it that way, some links on the site may be affiliate links. This page explains what that means, in line with the Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255).

How affiliate links work

If you click an affiliate link and buy something, the seller may pay us a commission. You pay the same price as you would without the link — there is no extra cost to you. Links that may be affiliate links include brands of portable power stations, expansion batteries, solar panels, transfer switches and EV charging adapters.

What affiliate links never change

• Our calculators use the same formulas and official specs whether or not a product has an affiliate program.
• A product only appears as a match in the planner when it passes the output, surge and voltage checks for your list, commission or not.
• We don't rank products by commission rate.
• We don't accept payment to publish, edit or remove content, and we don't publish paid reviews.

Home batteries and EVs

We don't earn anything from Tesla, Enphase, FranklinWH, Ford, GM or any installer, and we don't sell your details to installers. Home battery prices on the site are public ranges, not quotes.
